HIKING: Chamah Ulu Sepat (C.U.S)

LOCATION

• Titiwangsa Main Range, Perak Kelantan Border

TENTATIVE

DAY 1

• 0730 – Meet up at Masjid Kuala Betis and Breakfast.
• 0800 -4 Wheel transfer to Pos Simpor. 4 hours of travel time to Pos Simpor. If it rains too heavy and. We need to continue by walking from the last point where the 4 Wheel stopped.
• 1200 – Estimated to arrive at Sungai Simpor, Lunch break.
• 1300 – Briefing from Guide, Start Hike.
• 1600 – Estimated to arrive at Kampung Org. Asli Rekom.
• 1700 – Estimated to arrive at Kem Pakma, free and easy.

DAY 2

• 0430 – Early breakfast and ready to hike.
• 0500 – Start Hike.
• 0600 – Crossing Kem Tengah. (Subuh prayer and breakfast)
• 0800 – Crossing Kem Tongkat Ali. (Last water Point)
• 1000 – Anak Chamah’s Summit.
• 1330 – Estimated for everyone to arrive at Chamah’s summit. Lunch break.
• 1430 – Start descent.
• 1700 – Crossing Kem Tongkat Ali.
• 1830 – Estimated everyone to arrive at the campsite. Free and easy.

DAY 3

• 0800 – Breakfast and start hike.
• 0900 – Crossing Kg. Org. Asli Rekom.
• 1200 – Arrived at Sungai Peres. Lunch break.
• 1430 – Crossing Kem Anak Peres.
• 1630 – Estimated everyone to arrive at Kem Sg Retak (Kem Maggi). Free and easy.

DAY 4

• 0600 – Breakfast and start hike.
• 0830 – Arrive at Kem Sempadan.
• 1300 – Arrive at Puncak Orkid, Lunch break. (No Water Point)
• 1830 – Estimated everyone to arrive at Kem Sg. Lepir, Free and easy.

DAY 5

• 0700 – Breakfast and start hike.
• 0900 – Crossing USC junction, Leave your big bagpack here.
• 0930 – Estimated everyone to arrive at summit Gunung Ulu Sepat.
• 1100 – Start descent.
• 1300 – Arrive at Kem Lenweng, Lunch break.
• 1600 – Crossing Kem Kulim.
• 1730 – Estimated everyone to arrive at Kampung Lerlar, Pos Kemar & 4 Wheel transfer out.
• 2000 – Arrive at Bawong Central. End of expedition.
