If you want to find a diving torch catering to most of your needs, XTAR D26 2500 would be one of the best choices. It can be a primary light for recreational diving, and also a safety or backup light for tech-diving. It uses the Cree XHP50.2 LED to produce a color temperature of 6000k white. The high transmittance lens and better reflector bring a beam throw of 320 meters. The D26 2500 Long version requires two 26650 batteries. It provides max 2 hours burn time with 2 x 26650 5200mAh batteries. If you are eager for powerful and longer runtime dive light, this version would be suitable. The short version needs only one 26650 cell, with run time up to 1.6 hours. It is more portable, be conveniently put on the goodman handle. The magnetic press-button switch is very easy to use. You can enter any of the lighting levels even with thick gloves. A lock mode helps to prevent accidental turning on or off when carrying the diving torch in your bag or even when underwater. The battery indicator tells you how much power you have when diving underwater. This D26 2500 dive light also adopts battery reverse polarity protection and over-heat protection.
